The Fitness Spot offers a wide variety of exercise classes to help you reach your fitness goals. Group classes are a fun way to increase strength and endurance, tone your core and energize your spirit.

Class Descriptions
Core Conditioning 20 Is a complete abdominal and core strengthening class. It's a short but very effective way to tone your mid-section, glutes, hips and back, and improve your posture.
Mat Pilates Express In this 35 minute class, you will go through all of the basic Pilates moves in a flowing class. Build a stronger core, better posture and leaner muscles while focusing on control, breath and precision.
Pilates Whether new to Pilates or not, this class teaches the Pilates philosophy of breath, concentration, control, centering, precision and fluidity. Redefine the whole body through exercises to challenge your mind & leave your body strong, long & refreshed. Building upon the essential matwork routine, Level II will add challenge by introducing an intermediate mat work routine and the use of mini balls, fitness circles and resistance bands. With focus on breath and correct movement discover how it feels to be healthy and strong both inside and out!
Basic Strength and Tone This class has a great energy and welcoming environment. Do basic strength and cardio moves in a circuit format to strengthen and tone the entire body. You will sweat your way to a leaner, stronger body. The class changes every week so you will never be bored!
TRX Boot Camp: Incorporates basic moves: pushups, lunges, planks, squats, crunches etc. for a full body, sweat-inducing workout. Great way to start the day!
Spinning A 45-minute spin class session set to music in an energized atmosphere. Go through a series of workout phases - warm up, steady uptempo cadences, sprints, climbs, and cool down. Control your own resistance making the pedaling as easy or as difficult as you choose. Bring your towel, hydration, and get ready for an ultimate cardio class.
Boot Camp incorporates basic moves: pushups, lunges, planks, squats, crunches etc. for a full body, sweat-inducing workout. Great way to start the day!
Spin to the Beat 45 minutes of sweating to your favorite tunes! Control your own resistance making the pedaling as easy or as difficult as you choose while spinning to the pace of the music. Requests are encouraged, so please let us know what you’d like to hear!
Afro-Dance Afro-Dance is a heart opening, joyful expression of the whole body. A wonderful blend of traditional African movements, world music and body awareness techniques. Beginning with stretching and body articulations and excelling into cardio movements that balance the brain hemispheres and oxygenate the blood. Classes are designed for all body types and no dance experience is needed for beginner class.
Spin and Shred An upbeat 30 minute spin class followed by 30 minutes of full body strength training. A great fat-burning, muscle building combo.
Stretch Class: Improving flexibility is extremely beneficial, especially for those who sit at a desk all day, have low back pain, poor posture and a weak core. This class will take you through a wonderful routine of stretches to improve your flexibility and help alleviate the conditions listed.
